Obesity and Oral Health

Being obese is not only bad for your body, it’s bad for your oral health as well.


Obese individuals between the ages of 18 and 34 were found to have a rate of periodontal disease 76 percent higher than individuals with normal weight.

It is important to eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as dairy products. These foods are rich in vitamins and minerals, which can help prevent gum disease.
