Protect Your Eyes

Skiing on fresh snow, skating on reflective ice or hiking at high altitudes can be harder on your eyes than a day at the beach.

UV radiation can cause such eye problems as cataracts, macular degeneration, benign growths on the eye’s surface, cancer of the eyelids and skin around the eyes, and photokeratitis, which is a temporary but painful sunburn of the eye’s surface.

Protecting your eyes from the sun’s harmful UV rays can reduce your risk of these damaging effects to your eyesight.
