Between work and family obligations, games and meetings, homework and household chores, many people simply cannot seem to find enough hours in the day to accomplish all that needs to be completed. It’s exhausting. And further complicating the problem is the inability for people to carve out enough time to get a sufficient amount of shut eye each night.
Lack of sleep can impact one’s mood, mental capacity, stress and energy levels, motor skills, eye health and much more. In fact, the list of negative effects it can have is as long as some people’s daily to-do list.
This week is National Sleep Awareness Week. Consider making a commitment to getting the recommended amount of sleep each night. You will be more productive and your body will thank you.
