Advantica is pleased to announce that Lyles Downs, of Orlando, Fla., has been named senior sales account executive for the dental and vision benefits provider. In this capacity, Downs will handle dental and vision benefit commercial sales for the company’s Central and Northern Florida markets.
Downs brings with her nearly a decade of sales experience specific to the insurance industry. She most recently served as an account executive with AIG Benefit Solutions where she oversaw the large group segment of the company’s Northern Florida territory. Prior to that, she worked to establish and maintained broker relationships for the insurance carrier in Florida, Virginia, the District of Columbia and Maryland. Downs has also served as a regional sales representative for Reliance Standard Life Insurance in Orlando, Fla., and as a small business sales representative for Automatic Data Processing in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Downs has a Bachelors of Science in Journalism, with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She resides in Orlando with her husband and three children.
